ADHD – One Fun Loving Kid

Describe a student you have had (or currently have) that was diagnosed with ADHD or ADD. What characteristics did the child exhibit?

One student I had was a fun loving kid. But he just couldn’t stay in his seat or focus his attention for more than a few minute at a time.  He was diagnosed in preschool, but his mom said she suspected he was different from the other kids his age. He was attention seeking and impulsive, but he was a fun loving kid that thought life should be one party after another. He couldn’t keep a clean desk, was very disorganized at school, but his mom reported that he kept his room at home spotless. He was not often irritated, but did irritate other who didn’t understand his exceptionality.
